Currently trying to figure out which deposits to pay. Any advice would be appreciated.
My family has generously offered to pay for my living expenses at any school I attend so I will only include tuition in COA estimates.
Scholarships:
BC: ~24K a year
BU: ~27K a year
Emory: ~19K a year
COA: Total Indebtedness at Repayment
University of Florida: ~77K (Resident Tuition but no scholarships)
Boston College: ~85K
Boston University: ~74K
Emory: ~112K
The following schools have wait listed me: If I get off these WLs I will most likely attend one of them.
Georgetown (Preferential Wait List)
Vanderbilt
UVA
-How will you be financing your COA: Tuition will all be paid through loans.
-Ties: I have lived in Florida for most of my life and this is the state I have the strongest ties to.
-Career Goals: Prosecution, Big Law in a large city, Big Law in a small city (I realize that there is a massive difference between Big Law and Prosecution but I have had internships in both and enjoyed them for different reasons). Also interested in Immigration law. I want to practice in the East Coast. South Florida, Atlanta, Boston, New York, DC and Philadelphia all appeal to me but I am more concerned about finding a job than where I will end up living.
-I have taken the LSAT twice but did not see an improvement the second time. I am open to retaking the exam but since I only have one more shot is it better to take it in June or in October?

You appear to not have considered interest accruing while in school
use georgetown law debt calculator to calculate that then update the op for actual CoA

BU's not that bad for your goals but the LST score is worrying

The BU debt looks ok to me but your shot at big law will be iffy at best. If you want a good shot at big law gotta go to a T14, if you go to one of these you need to make peace with the fact that it might not happen. Also, it might be really hard to gun for both big law and PI.
