W&M is out. You aren't getting West Coast from there
Definitely retake in June. That can actually help you this cycle. Don't waste that GPA if you don't have to
But it appears in your specific circumstance that UNLV might not be terrible given the connections you do have

If you have connections this great, no point in taking on more debt. Enjoy UNLV. If your connections fail, at least you'll be in a place where you have strong ties and low debt.izzlelay wrote: My family works for the city and I interned at the SFDAs office, so really any job in the city is mine if I use my connections.

Put a retake/reapply option in the poll and that will be the winner.

Being an ASU undergrad alum and as much as I love the school, I think UNLV is the clear winner here. $67k in debt, while not awful for law school, is still significant and will be a pain in the ass for the next 10 years or so. While there are some debts that are better than others, the only good debt is no debt at all. Enjoy Vegas!

Retake and reapply if you get a 168+, if not, then enjoy UNLV for free.

UPDATE: Just go into UC Davis, no word on scholarship yet & I am in Final Review at USC
Thanks for all the replies already! UNLV is my top choice right now, but still holding out for some of my reaches. I would probably go to USC & UCLA at sticker if I got in, but maybe that will be a different post.
About my ties in SF, I don't particularly want to stay in SF because my family is overbearing and the city doesn't suit me. BUT if all else failed, I could use my connections to gain experience, though its not my go-to.
No, I did not go to Gormon, not that it matters. Private school circles are small and close-knit, plus I keep in contact with friends from my high school years who keep me in the loop of all things Vegas. I also definitely wouldn't mind working in Vegas for a few years to get my foot in the door elsewhere.
Also, I will be retaking in June for good measure and to exhaust my 3x LSAT limit.

For your sake, your family's sake, and the sake of your future children, don't do this.izzlelay wrote:I would probably go to USC & UCLA at sticker if I got in, but maybe that will be a different post.

Yeah do not go to any non-t14 at sticker. Even most of the t14s at sticker are scary. Just prep and try to do as well as possible on the LSAT in June. If you raise your scores into the upper 160s sit out and reapply next year. If not, just go to UNLV for free
