Michigan place better than Northwestern in Chicago?

Heard that this weekend from a Michigan alum and thought that couldn't be true. Figured it would

By the numbers, no, not even close.

Obviously that reflects people's selections-- only so many Michigan grads want to go into Chicago.

This fellow may have been opining on a Michigan J.D.'s chances of success upon applying for a Chicago job. That's a different stat, not easily found. I'd expect the schools to be regarded comparably.

Michigan doesn't place better than Northwestern anywhere.

Go to whichever is significantly cheaper. If it's pretty close, go to Northwestern.
