Hastings/Santa Clara/Seattle/retake

Post by Roger Mexico » Wed Mar 26, 2014 11:18 pm

Annual tuition cost (in loans) for me would be 28k at Seattle, ~35k at Hastings and Santa Clara. In other words about 10-13k schollies with (average?) stips at all three. I'm from the Seattle area but I'd like to move to the SF Bay Area, I have friends/etc. in both places, no significant ties as far as legal employment goes.

My career interests are in M&A/VC/litigation if I went the business route or else family, criminal, or estates/trusts if I went the small law or even solo route. That's not a final answer, I'm sure there are areas of law I don't even know about yet. I am committed to getting a law degree and practicing law in general.

Liberal arts major, 3.5 GPA. Took the LSAT once, was barely able to study, 156. As far as a retake goes, for what it's worth I missed almost 3/4 of the questions on analytical reasoning/logic games, not sure how easy that section is to improve upon compared to others, would welcome any insight on that.

Retake. Logic games is the easiest section to improve and none of these schools are worth anywhere near what you would be paying.
