Ohio State($) vs Illinois($) vs Retake
Ohio State(130k COA 10k/yr) vs Illinois(210k COA 5k/yr)
I am still waiting to hear back from Georgetown and Duke. I am aiming for a federal government job after law school (FBI CIA etc). Most of my ties are in Ohio.
GPA: 3.74 (Biochemistry)
LSAT: 160
I've only taken the LSAT once. My softs are decent, graduate degree in STEM field and several research publications.
Thank you for any advice.

By the beard of Zeus, retake. Hard sciences with a good GPA and you want to pay a quarter mil to attend UICU? Please don't do that. Please.

Definitely retake OP. If you got a 3.74 in BioChem I'm pretty confident you can go up to at least a 165 and get full rides to these schools if that's what you want.

Shit, I could barely pass basic statistics as an UG senior, and I did pretty OK on the LSAT. You are an actual smart person: you've got this.

Thanks for the advice. That's what I figured. I made the mistake of assuming the LSAT was like the GRE and you didn't have to study for it. I'll retake in June or Oct. I think finding this site saved me from ruining my life.

160 with negligible prep? You have 180 potential.oliverqueen wrote:Thanks for the advice. That's what I figured. I made the mistake of assuming the LSAT was like the GRE and you didn't have to study for it. I'll retake in June or Oct. I think finding this site saved me from ruining my life.

If you got 160 cold, you're probably going to get a great retake with some studyingoliverqueen wrote:Thanks for the advice. That's what I figured.
