Help! Need advice on IP law and school area Forum

I am from the northeast and I did my undergrad in ChemE. Now I am trying to figure out where to go to school for IP law. So far the best schools (US News ranking-wise) I have gotten into are UMaryland, George Mason, and UWisconsin. Wisconsin is the highest ranked but I plan to live back on the east coast after law school. Is the ranking enough to go on when I move back here? Or will people on the east coast not recognize the difference enough to make it worth moving into the middle of the country?
