This thread seems premature considering how incomplete your cycle is so far. I think you would be insane to take OSU over full tuition at UVA or a similar offer at another T14 school.

You have full tuition at UVA. Only way you turn this down is full tuition at another T14 that is higher ranked or you like better. Ohio state would be beyond insane as a choice. You are in an amazing situation: congrats!

Congratulations on your fantastic choices.

It would be an unfathomably poor decision to attend Ohio state over UVa or Duke with named scholarships. If you weren't prepared to leave Ohio, you should have waited to apply until you could (although I don't see why anyone wouldn't be thrilled to go to the schools you've gotten i to). If your SO is there and you two can't live apart, he/she needs to MOVE with you - yes it's that big a deal. Same with any parent/sibling issues.

JAG is very competitive, and Duke/UVA will open it as an actual possibility.
