Transferring from Tier 1 PT program into T-14

Post by MacAllen » Thu Dec 12, 2013 10:21 pm

Hello everyone. I'm currently attending a lowly ranked Tier 1 school and I'm considering a transfer to a FT program at another school for my 2L year. I have a couple of questions:

1) Has anyone on this forum successfully transferred to a FT program from a low Tier 1 PT program (ranked 90+) into a T-14 FT school?
if so, what were your stats?
2) I'm pretty sure I'm going to be ranked top 2%-5% in my class after finals, is it worth transferring to another school and paying sticker or should I just stay at my current school and request more money?

Any feedback/information/rant would be extremely useful. Thank you!

1) There's a forum dedicated to transfers: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=27.

But

2) You can't post in it until you have 1st semester grades back: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 7&t=170597.
