Nashville Legal Market
I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the legal market in Nashville. I'm fairly new to TLS so excuse my ignorance . I have lived in Nashville all my life and there's no question that i want to settle down here after I graduate from law school. I'm currently studying for the lsat and my GPA is in the median of the top 5 law schools. I'm shooting for a top score so I can get into a good school with some aid. But what would be the best law school if I'm dead set on staying in Nashville after law school? Big law would be nice, but it isn't a must for me. I'd be satisfied with a mid size firm. I have some interests in academia down the road, but I know I want to practice law once I graduate. Now, the obvious answer would be Vandy here, but what if I get into a better school, say Duke or even Harvard. Should I take those schools or some other top ten schools, if they give me some aid, over Vandy, or is Vandy the clear option here. I know it's still early on, but I wanted to see what you guys think.

You should worry about the LSAT first. But, after you get your score, and you're open to some options in the top 10, weigh those options based on much money they'll give you. Vandy would suffice though.
