That'd be cool to know what the % stood for or is it just too late for me to comprehend graphs?

Percentage of students employed at one of the 250 largest law firms. Basically, % of students that were hired by BigLaw during a given year. A bit deceiving since there are a good numbers of firms that pay BL $, but are either boutiques or simply did not crack the 250 list.wannabelawstudent wrote:That'd be cool to know what the % stood for.

Thanks. That explains why Fordham is so high.Sheffield wrote:Percentage of students employed at one of the 250 largest law firms. Really only 30% of Yale's class going into big law? So that many people are doing clerkships/PI/gov/whatnot instead? Seems weird since H and S are both around 50%

wish i went o law school whenever the 2007 class did oci. Damn you'd have to really fuck up to not get biglaw at some of these schools when you add in the clerkship numbers and people that self select PI.

Then you lost your job a year and a half later when the recession hit big law.Lacepiece23 wrote:wish i went o law school whenever the 2007 class did oci. That is literally what I always tell myself when I see the rosy statistics of past classes.wannabelawstudent wrote:Then you lost your job a year and a half later when the recession hit big law.Lacepiece23 wrote:wish i went o law school whenever the 2007 class did oci. Yale is really in a class of its own in terms of ability to place people in clerkships and, especially, having a large percentage of people who want to do very specific things with their degrees. Biglaw is too craven and money-grubbing for them.heywatchitbuddy wrote:Really only 30% of Yale's class going into big law? So that many people are doing clerkships/PI/gov/whatnot instead?
