Hi everyone,
Among my admits, I still unable to decide b/w Fordham sticker OR UIUC 50% tuition.
I am an international student and can afford the full fee at Fordham. But would it be wise to take that option since they are ~ equally ranked univs.
Being an Intl, I think job prospects for me greatly increase in NYC as compared to Illinois - am I right ?
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I would never recommend going to Fordham at sticker.

Re: Fordham sticker Vs UIUC 50%
Fordham places about 25 percent of students in biglaw. You need biglaw to sponsor a work visa. So it would be top 25 percent or go back home with nothing.
Are you willing to risk all that money on a 75% shot that you might just waste 3 years?
Hate to sound so awful (
) but international students are really the most screwed by the US law system, and should always be extra careful about where they choose to go and how much they pay for an investment that may not pay off.
If you had gotten into a T13 where at least about 50% of students get desirable outcomes, I'd say your choice would be more defensible.
