Value of 2L Contacts

Post by megagnarley » Fri Mar 01, 2013 2:58 pm

Question: Not that I could ever see it carrying more weight than quantitative data in the decision making process, but assuming near equal money at peer schools, how heavily would you value having friends who will be 2L's during your 1L year?

Is there appreciable value added in having someone there to show you the ropes/recommend profs/share outlines etc., or are these things that one would figure out on their own quite simply regardless?

That is all.

I would give it no weight. It would be pretty easy to make friends with 2L's at the other school.
