Minnesota v. UIUC

Post by NIUmelk » Thu Feb 28, 2013 6:23 pm

Hey guys!

I'm having a dilemma deciding between Minnesota and U of I. I'm from Chicago, but I don't care where I end up. I want to maximize my job possibilities regardless of location. Minnesota offered me 16K per year OOS, and U of I offered me 50% off tuition. COL is not an issue. Thank you!

TCR is probably "RETAKE," but what type of law are you looking at practicing?

Sorry...no advice.

Where does Minnesota do well/place? Just curious. Thanks

I guess that 50% off @ UIUC is 50% off in-state? Still, I just checked and UIUC tuition is freaking expensive even in-state...

Our state is broke, no need to subsidize a bunch of law students.

OP, I'd stick with Illinois. You are from here. I think Minn. firms will be less likely to hire you.

Though, TBF, the outcomes at both schools are pretty terrible.

Ostensibly MN

In reality, it doesn't do well even there
