I was wondering if anyone can speak to the relative reputation of columbia nyu and penn abroad? If it's relavant, I plan on applying for a MA or MPA at SIPA (columbia) gtown or a similar school during my 1L year. I want to find work in international development, particularly legal reform in the developing world--figure this part could easily change over time, but not the wanting to work abroad part.
This won't be the only thing I make my decision on, but would still appreciate people's thoughts.
PS-haven't actually gotten into columbia, but crossing my fingers for it

Re: International reputation (columbia, nyu, penn)
I would choose Columbia if you can. It has a very good international reputation, and NYU and Penn are not as well recognized, in my experience.
Again, that's just my experience, though, and I go to Columbia - so I could be biased, I suppose. But I was living in London when I applied to and got in to law school.

Internationally, Columbia >>> Penn > NYU.
