Cardozo v. Brooklyn

Post by generaltoast » Fri Feb 15, 2013 4:34 pm

Would love some input. I am very open to retaking my 164 LSAT, but would like to know if any of these options are reasonable if I attended this fall.

Brooklyn (41k/year)
Cardozo (35k/year)
Northeastern(30k/year)
Waitlisted at BC and Fordham

Also still waiting on $$ offer from Uconn.

Thanks guys

nope, retake. you won't regret it because these options are not good.

What law do you want to practice? I assume these numbers are total scholly awards. If so, what is the total debt you'll be taking out?

If you gotta pick one I'd take Brooklyn over Dozo since they're about equally bad and you're getting more money from Brooklyn. But none of those are good options.

If you think you can study harder and do better, retake the LSAT. If you get in off of either waitlist, you can consider going or you can reapply with a better LSAT next year.

Retake or don't go due to bad job prospects.

I would like to become an ADA. That said, I would not turn down a chance at biglaw should that (very unlikely) opportunity arise. Those scholarships are per year. Im assuming around 80k in loans?
