Class of 2012 employment statistics, when are they released?

Post by helix23 » Tue Feb 12, 2013 1:23 pm

Are they released 9 months after graduation or does the data start to be submitted/collected after 9 months?

Status date is 2/15. Reporting deadline to the ABA is 3/15. The numbers should trickle out at schools between now and then, and then the ABA will release all of the data a few weeks after 3/15. LST will immediately take the data to populate the new edition of the Score Reports.

There's also the NLJ250 "Go To" List. It should be coming out very shortly. It only deals with one sector of the legal market but it's still a helpful indicator.

A Google search notes that this list has come out on Feb 28 each of the past 2 years. Hopefully that trend will continue. It it does, is this the first indicator we'll get for c/o 2012 employment stats?

^ There were some articles about Summer 2011 hiring being up, but the Go To list will be the first data I know of concerning Class of '12 after their graduation. (Assuming it comes out on the date it usually does.)
