OH MY GOD! They are messaging you on TLS?ndirish2010 wrote:Is this even a real law school?
That's Drexel. I'd go, if you're in the area. Last year they put admitted students up in a hotel for a couple of nights and gave you free beer and food. It's a good deal!
Get some of dat IBR juice...
edit: apparently, after reading the letter, they dropped it down to one night. Well, this is for the "admissions meeting." Maybe they'll keep up with the two-day deal for the "admitted students" event.

This will turn SUPER AWKWARD really fast when people with terrible numbers take them up on it.

TTTs actually reject people? I thought they would take 40k out of anyone's pockets that would let themNorth wrote:This will turn SUPER AWKWARD really fast when people with terrible numbers take them up on it.

Drexel does have higher medians than a few schools in the Top 100 but yeah this is pretty pathetic.scruffy556 wrote:TTTs actually reject people? I emailed them back asking if they would be putting us up at the Four Seasons. Beyond blatantly solicitous (in a friend's word, like a timeshare email), it's a little bit late to be doing this.

This is insane. So much for even the pretense of holistic admissions.

Let us know if they are, that might be worth the 21 dollar reporting fee. Been looking for a little travel anywaynba101790 wrote:I emailed them back asking if they would be putting us up at the Four Seasons. Those dudes e-mail me every week and I don't even live anywhere near there. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

Not to mention that cost of airfare to this thing easily overrides any savings from a night in a cheap hotel. I can't figure this one out at all.

Any chance I could pretend to be a prospective student? Seems like a credited way to get free booze and a place to crash for the night.

It's hilarious how much advertising TTTs do compared to T-14s or even T-30s... I've literally received 7 emails (had to dig through my trash folder to find them) and probably 3 or 4 mailers from Concordia Law School. Their sporadic acts of desperation make me LOL.

Their undergrad is pretty well respected in the region, mainly because of their coop program for engineering students.
