Good luck OP. I know someone who is pre-med and did not get into med school that is now going to law school and wants to do patent law.

A good number of my classmates were formerly pre-med and it didn't work out for them (usually because of a low grade in a chem class or scoring low on the MCAT). Those who are here just because the med school plan didn't work out for them tend not to be happy in law school.
