Philly Lifer asks Drexel @ 7k/year vs. RU-C @ 4k/year
Drexel's scholly= 2.8 stip
RU-C= top 40%. If I fall below 40%, I will be paying 12k w/ a 3.0 stip
Let's try to keep "retake/reapplys" to a minimum.
Things I am weighing against eachother: Drexel Law is new & lacking alumni. The university has a stellar reputation within Philly and the tri-state region. I'm hoping the LS follows in suit. RU-C is embroiled in some god awful merger battle with Rowan. But the LS does have a much more expansive network.
I want to live and practice in Philly.

Try to wrestle more money out of either of them. They're both having trouble filling their class.

Ya I was accepted w/o scholly. Declined their offer, I didn't think it was worth the extra $$$ even with in-state.

I'm assuming that the amounts listed are tuition costs before living expenses.
You've got to wait a year. Drexel's job placement is abysmal- it doesn't matter how prestigious the undergrad is when the market is so insanely saturated with established law schools. I'm sure the curve is brutal as well so keeping that scholly will be tough. I'd take Camden but you need to wait and see whether this merger thing will go through.

Neither. Temple in-state is a better deal than either of them, just compare employment stats. I'd see if you can't get back into Temple or R&R next year.
