Don't expect much money. ED might be a good idea for you.

Re: 174/3.34 - What are my chances (or $$)
I had a very slightly better GPA than you and here is what I did with those schools (didn't apply to NYU or Northwestern)
UVA - Accepted (off of waitlist)
Penn - Waitlisted
Berkeley - Rejected
Michigan - Waitlisted
Duke - Waitlisted
Georgetown - Accepted
UCLA - Accepted w/ $75,000
USC - Accepted w/ $75,000 (off of waitlist)
I applied late in the cycle (January), so I would expect you to outperform my results as well. Make sure to have your LoRs, personal statements, etc. ready so that you can submit your applications the day they are released; that is the best thing you can do for yourself. Also, I agree with Tiago, you should strategically use your ED.

I apologize for posting this in the wrong forum
I thought I had clicked "What are my chances"
Can you do more than one ED if you are denied/held by the school where you submitted your first ED application?

Yes, but the ED response from many schools will come after the deadline to apply ED at many other schools.polkadots10 wrote: Can you do more than one ED if you are denied/held by the school where you submitted your first ED application?

I think you'd have an okay shot at $$ Georgetown, and a small chance at $$ NU. If you want Penn I think you have to ED.
You probably know this but ED UVA is a lock. Myself, I would probably ED Penn (making admission likely, as opposed to a guaranteed WL) and blanket the rest of T-14.
About UVA-- I think you can throw an ED app to them at any point in the cycle, but the "lock" thing may go away if you do it later (like, you get rejected from Penn ED in February and change your UVA app to ED). Someone else who did this may be able to inform you better.

In at Michigan with $18,000 per year is my best guess based on info. at http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com.

NYU - 50% w/ ED, WL withoutpolkadots10 wrote:LSAT: 174

What are my chances at acceptances/money at the following?:
UVA - WL, could probably get off of it
Penn - 80% w/ED, WL without
Berkeley - Out
Michigan - 90% w/ ED, 30-50% RD if early perhaps with $, probably RD WL
Duke - Out
Northwestern - No WE = Out
Georgetown - In, perhaps with $
UCLA - WL/In
USC - WL/In
Should be able to negotiate money out of UCLA/USC, don't bank on money elsewhere.

The most money you can receive is probably 54k from Michigan and close to 100k from Georgetown. Expect to ride out a lot of waitlists and if you want the best school possible with those numbers then ED to NYU.

Check this thread out. It'll answer all your questions about ED'ing and EA'ing. Congrats on the great LSAT score
