Florida State vs. Florida

Post by PurpleShore9 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:57 pm

I am debating between FSU and UF law schools. I am looking for the school that is most like a city and has a kind of laid-back attitude/environment. If it helps, I am looking the school most similar to the University of Central Florida (my current school).

Thanks for your help!

The consensus here is that they are basically peers in terms of job placement and you should probably go to the one that is cheaper either through scholarships or tuition/COL. From what little I know, FSU sounds like more of the cultural fit you are going for, but I wouldn't let that sway you if UF will save you money in the long run.

Presumption is you should go to UF unless FSU is cheaper, you hate Gainesville/love Tallahassee, or you want to work state govt.

Neither Tallahassee or Gainesville is like Orlando.
