If you want to do NYC biglaw and you got into Fordham with money then you should go back and work on your LSAT. Your credentials are probably good but not quite enough for T14.
Fordham will give you a 25% chance of biglaw. Its better than a lot of places but its not high.
It will give you a 75% chance of not getting biglaw.
It will also give you a 20% chance of unemployment at graduation.
I would not consider Dozo. That is decent money from Fordham.

Our resident grump speaks the truth; that 25% figure might be a little low by the time you do OCI, but last year's class did worseMrAnon wrote: Fordham will give you a 25% chance of biglaw. Its better than a lot of places but its not high.

What else do you want to do? Biglaw or bust is not viable with these options.

Re: Fordham 60k vs Dozo full ride
i am retaking the LSAT in June but i am not sure if i can get it to the 170 i need for it to make sense imo to take a year off and try again next year. I feel both offers are very generous, which is why i am hesitant to ask for more $ from Fordham.
I haven't put a lot of thought into what i would do if i couldn't get big law, but i would like to do business law as well.

I think you need to think seriously about this before you go to law school. Your chances of getting Biglaw from either of your two options are worse than a coin flip. Significantly worse in the case of Cardozo.john1990 wrote:i am retaking the LSAT in June but i am not sure if i can get it to the 170 i need for it to make sense imo to take a year off and try again next year. Skip Dozo; biglaw is possible, but the odds are too low if that's your main goal.
That's a decent scholly from Fordham and the school is worth it at that price.
Arguably the best shot at biglaw outside of T14*
Your best bet is to deposit at Fordham and retake. If you bust 170 or more, sit out the cycle.
If there's no improvement go to Fordham (if a slight increase, ED UVA)
yes, I'm ignoring UCLA, Vandy, etc. For simplicity's sake, don't argue
