Duke vs UCLA
Duke with merit of $105,000 or UCLA with $120,000. National flexibility desired since not partial to a specific market.

Really comes down to Southern California versus the East Coast, in my opinion.

Then I'd definitely take Duke. A much better school for only around $15k more? Easy choice, imo.clarence84 wrote:National flexibility desired since not partial to a specific market.

I wouldn't be surprised if Duke has equal or better placement power than UCLA in LA, and Duke is far superior in other major markets. You're getting a pretty huge upgrade for $15k.

Even if you wanted California for sure, I'd still think about taking Duke.
