Choosing a school to apply ED?

Post by shifty_eyed » Tue Apr 17, 2012 2:24 pm

A couple general questions about applying early decision.

1) If money is a concern at all, should I avoid ED altogether?

2) Those who applied ED, do you have any regrets?

Yes, with very few exceptions. Northwestern gave every ED admit a 150K scholarship this year. If NU is doing the same program next year and if Northwestern is your top choice, you should absolutely ED.

OP: Do you have any post-college work experience ? If not, then your 170/3.3 may not be enough to get into Northwestern ED. Without work experience & seeking scholarship money, you should not apply ED to any law school, in my opinion.
