Ok,
So I'm studying to retake the LSAT but to hedge my bets I'm still putting a deposit.
So it seems that people would warn against going to Washington and Lee since it is considered regional. But if I don't care about region then Washington and Lee would offer me a higher salary most probably assuming I go into private practice. It also seems that W&L has some national reach. UF the numbers seem pretty low. Most people go into small (2-10 person) firms and come out making peanuts. I got that 40k scholly from Washington and Lee with a 3.25 scholarship stipulation. I'm ok with it.
I didn't choose William and Mary because I would have paid 104k in loans not including interest for three years. I didn't think this was justified.
Question 1) Would it be expected that a graduate from UF or Washington and Lee would make a higher salary?
I'm leaning Washington and Lee but of course the family and the g/f are in Florida.
I have no idea which to choose, and I can't make a decision.
WTF to do!

Are these your only options with a 3.86/164 ? If so, then Florida assuming in-state tuition.

It sounds like you should go to Florida. I wouldn't even debate it. You should only leave if WITHOUT DEBATE you think the school you are leaving for is good. sounds like you are trying to make the case for W&L to us, to you. Forget it. If it were Columbia, I'd go in an instant. Not W&L.

How much debt after UF? Do you have to take out loans for COL, and is that 60K plus interest for all 3 years? With a max. scholarship from UF, you'd still have to add nealry 20K for tuition on to that. W & L would be cheaper provided you keep the scholarship.

Isn't a 3.25 top 50% at W&L? What happens if you are below that?

Only 15% of the 50% in law firms are at 2-10 person firms. FSU is the one with 50% at the 2-10 person firms.
