UCLA vs. USC

Which school is more well-respected in the state? Which one carries more name value nationally?

They are peer schools. UCLA might be marginally better outside CA, but if you're looking for a job outside CA from either of these schools you're doing it wrong.

Got it. So basically, I should attend these schools only if I am sure I would like to work in CA. Thanks for your input.

Yes, they are definitely peer schools.

Although, I just attended a UCLA regional event and they did everything in their power to say they were "national" and better than USC.
