Urban or campus setting ? If open to either, then Chicago's placement stats easily justify the cost difference.

Chicago at that price is fricken awesome and I'd go there.

But if you want to stay in Michigan, graduating from UM with 40k of debt is totally reasonable over nearly any option.

Can't go wrong either way. Chicago gives you a slightly better chance at biglaw and I think their revamped LRAP is slightly better if you go the gov/PI route (although you won't have too much in loans anyway). I'd probably visit both choose whichever you like better.

I agree that you should visit the UChi campus, if you haven't already, but it's still probably the better choice.
