Am I making the right decision?

Background: I am from St. Louis, but have been living in Chicago for two years post-undergrad working.
With my current scholarship offers, COA for either school total will be around 20K/year after living, etc.

I want to end up in St. Louis/ Kansas City, but because of their legal markets being so small I would also like to keep Chicago as an option. Being from St. Louis, I am leaning very heavily towards Wustl with both schools being basically the same cost to attend. Is my two years working in Chicago enough of “ties” to get back here post-grad, or would I be better off going to UIUC because of a larger Chicago Alumni base?

Any advice would be appreciated!

If they are the same price and you have STL ties, I think its pretty easily WUSTL...
