cardozo vs uga

Post by laxbrah420 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:11 pm

tuition is the same after scholarships
COL is about 8k more a year for Cardozo, funded by cash.
goal: Big IP, indifferent to NYC or Atlanta.
Good ties to NYC, reasonable connections to Atl/south.

He already pointed out the cost differential. Whether loan or cash is irrelevant.
(I wouldn't go to either with a full scholly, but each to their own)

Best advice: decide whether you'd rather live in Atlanta of New York.
It's that simple. (I'd pick Atlanta. NY is tough)

I'd go UGA, if you're indifferent to location. A decent job is not assured from either school, but I think UGA's status in Atlanta >>> Cardozo's status in NYC, and it will be cheaper.

If mommy and daddy are covering you, then go where you want to practice. Simple as that.

Your situation would be more understandable if it was between Emory & Yeshiva/Cardozo. Most people can decide between NYC & Athens without internet guidance.

Not enough information about your preferences to offer meaningful advice. Flip a coin. If you don't like the result, then you know where to go.

cooler people
college sports

nyc pros:
friends/family
actually in the city
hockey
more culture
closer to mountains/beach/casino

Is retaking an option?

Good point.

Back to square one.

You should look up the square footage of the libraries.

uga: ~50k
cardozo: ~16
is bigger better or is it rad to have shit condensed?
uga brags about 600k volumes to yeshiva's "over 580k", so there's a sq.ft:volume advantage in new york.

Hmm...bigger is better for studying.

But condensed might mean modern (think moveable bookshelves).

I think the obvious answer is Cardozo.

(P.S. I am beginning to like you.)
