I love this post. Should probably be stickied to front page at least for the next month or so

rad lulz wrote:If you have some school choices, to makes it easier on everyone, how about you put down, at the very least:

1. Total cost (how many loans you will have to take)
2. LSAT/GPA
3. Where you are from and other regional ties
4. What you want to do, career wise
5. Where you want to do the thing that you want to do

Without this, you're gonna get crappy advice.

Also, if you make a thread in the vein of "shud i go to UW or UGA i am from Resaca GA but i liek UW bc its ranked 20 and on the rise" you should realize you are gonna get deservedly ripped onfor displaying an almost unmatched level of sheer idiocy.
Except it is easily matched. All the time. By people doing this

Credited. I want to be helpful here, but if you just give me "Should I go to school X or Y" (often apparently chosen at random) I really can't.

Rad, can you make another flowchart like in the What Are My Chances forum?

It needs to be more than stickied. Maybe the TLS admins can make these guidelines appear first when someone clicks "new topic."

Or it should be a *please read before making a "which law school should I choose" thread, just like stickied for other threads.

Which many people ignore anyway. Which is why it would be nice if they were actually forced to read it upon deciding to make a new post in this forum.
