Ohio State or Georgia State
As of now, I would be paying sticker at both. Ohio State would be instate and I would not have to pay rent, Georgia State OOS and need to find an apartment. I am leaning towards working in the South and currently very interested in Atlanta. I'm uncertain if Ohio State's large alumni network would be enough to pull a decent job in the south if my marks were there. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Ohio State. What's really giving you pause here?
I wouldn't target Atlanta. If you really want that city, you should go to Vanderbilt or better (UVA, Duke, HYS).

Why would you note target Atlanta? Tough market or other reasons?

It's a tough market that has been (relatively) dominated lately by out of state schools. Think Miami.

I read that they choose from Georgia first; so, UGA/Emory then GSU. Also, I do have some connections there now in construction law, but I'm not sure it could lead to a job. I guess I will have to do more research...Aberzombie1892 wrote:It's a tough market that has been (relatively) dominated lately by out of state schools. Think Miami.

The Atlanta market is rough for everyone now, including UGA and Emory kids at the top of the class. Do NOT pay sticker OOS for Georgia State. If Atlanta is what you want, retake for a 165 and go to UGA. You'll get instate for two if not three years and a better shot.
Georgia State is third in GA and behind Vandy, UVA, etc. Don't put yourself in that position.

Osu is also the best school in the state of ohio. That should make it easier to get a job, since your competition won't be as tough. Columbus is also a really nice city (I'm an osu undergrad) and while it's not the size or weather of atlanta, it is not a bad place to live.
