Maryland (in-state) vs. George Mason

Post by parker21 » Sat Mar 24, 2012 3:22 pm

Hey everyone, trying to finalize my decision between attending maryland with instate tuition vs. george mason.

Def leaning heavily towards UMD with the instate tuition, but I would appreciate to hear everyones opinion on GMU reputation with regards to job prospects and such in comparison with UMD. I also have good ties with DC, MD, and NOVA I have lived in the area my whole life.

I would definitely go to UMD in your situation.

Assuming UMD in-state is cheaper than George Mason out of state, UMD. The rank difference is minimal at best.
