Ride the WUSTL Waitlist or Minnesota

Post by ClockWorks1011 » Fri Mar 23, 2012 7:13 pm

From Indiana and want out...
I'd like to work in Chicago (1st), but I also like the twin cities (close 2nd) and wouldn't mind living/working there
Won't retake LSAT

Received $10K from Minnesota
Wait listed at WUSTL

Basically, should I try to wait it out for WUSTL, or go with Minnesota now and forgo the wait list process? Is a degree from WUSTL any more portable than Minnesota? Any help would be much appreciated!

Both are regional. Since you preempt waitlist advice, go with Minnesota because WUSTL will probably not give you anything. Both are bad ideas at close to sticker though...

Why not? A retake could get you a fully scholly and save you six figures.

It could also be of no use and cost him a year of his career.

Go to Minnesota. You'll like it more, I promise. They are ranked higher and have hockey, football, underwater basket weaving, everything! Plus, UM owns the state market. WUSTL doesn't even own St. Louis! A TTT school does. Go to Minnesota.
