North Carolina question time!!!
So, thinking about wake vs. unc. I can find most of the info I need, but I was wondering how they place in state (obviously Duke has some influence also). Anyone from that region or at UNC/Wake that could let me know what the market allegiances look like? Perhaps certain cities lean one way or another.
Thanks
Thanks

I've done a lot of reading about this, and most people give WFU a slight edge for firms. I'm not sure about government or anything else.

I've heard that Wake has a tiny edge in private hiring but UNC definitely wins when it comes to PI.

they're peer schools. any difference in hiring will be due to individual differences, not school.

from looking at their stats from their website for the class of 2010, it appears that a high % of WF grads went on to the private sector, however, they made on average less money than those from UNC that went to the private sector.
