I've decided I want to go back to VA. Long story short, been out of the state for a few years but have better employment prospects via family connections as compared to other areas. Since I'm W/L at UVA, and even if I did get in am not sure I would want to pay sticker, its down to W&M and W&L.
I have scholarship offers at both, and not including COL (I've got it covered), I could go to W&L for about $8,000 for 3 years and W&M for about $48,000 for 3 years.
I know with the difference in cost it shouldn't be a comparison, but even 48k isn't that bad. What stumps me is that W&L is in Lexington, I've been their its nothing. Williamsburg isn't that exciting either, but better than Lexington.
So, what's the input on this decision? Money vs. Happier for 3 years.

Both towns are boring. Go with the cheaper one if employment prospects are the same.

W&L because it's way cheaper.

To many, money = happiness.
Unless you are very anti-preppy & anti-good ol' Southern boy, then Wash & Lee is the easy answer.
P.S. Don't worry about rural Lexington as law schools are pretty good at keeping students busy.

You are going to spend those three years living in the library anyway, so why not just take the $$$?So, what's the input on this decision? Money vs. Happier for 3 years
