t4 $$$ or t2 sticker
Hey guys, really debating which is better. University of Dayton with 24,000 a year (would be paying a little over 9,000) but would have virtually no living expenses. Or Case Western, paying sticker with living expenses. I know Case is a much much better school, but I was just curious if acquiring more debt is worth going to a much better school?

2) Neither, seriously. Paying sticker at Case is insane.

2.) Above poster speaks the truth.
Still, I would take Case (better potential job prospects. Also, respected).

Stupid list of options.
Neither, retake.

Neither is a great option. Nevertheless, if you have strong connections to a law firm in the Dayton area that will guarantee you a job after graduation & that will satisfy your career goals, then debt-free Dayton may work for you. If not, then you need to retake the LSAT & reapply next cycle for better options.

I would retake/reapply.
Though if you're dead set take the $$$- better to minimize that since employment scenarios are not that different coming from either school.

Yeah. This. Unfortunately Ohio is very overcrowded with law schools and a relatively small market. Even Moritz has scary job prospects. Dayton is at the bottom of the pile with Ohio northern etcrad lulz wrote:Retake or don't go due to bad job prospects.

Case at sticker looks like a terrible choice. If the TTTT places well locally and you're fine with that, go with the TTTT.

So you'd be coming out of law school with only $30k debt from Dayton? That's not the worst thing. Prospects aren't great, but I know several people in "small-law" from Dayton. I also know a person who graduated from Dayton law who couldn't find a legal job and went back to her prior position as an admin assistant, but had to take a pay cut to get it back. Not that anecdotes mean much, but I guess it depends on what your goals are.
Going to Case at sticker would be way worse, though.
