Washington and Lee for Clerkships?

Post by adil91 » Tue Feb 28, 2012 9:48 pm

Washington and Lee puts about 20% of students each year into judicial clerkships, I've heard that's pretty good. Does that fact give it a leg up on William and Mary,Wake Forest, or George Mason? I know its really expensive but getting a judicial clerkship is one of my goals

If you look at the actual breakdown, most of those are in state/local courts which lack the prestige of A3 clerkships (Fed CoA or Fed Dist). When people on TLS refer to clerkships it is generally to A3 clerkships.

I've read that half of them are federal..but I'd settle for state clerkships if I had to
