Re: Fordham
Id take fordham. You would be giving up too much in terms of biglaw placement at seton hall or crooklyn...confusedlaw wrote:Is Fordham with 15 k and ability to live home rent free better than half scholarship aye juice and fully at seton hall and 30 at bklyn
I see that you have a 3.7 and 167. I think your best option is to retake. WOrst case, pay your deposit for fordham and retake. 1 more pt could mean cornell/ Vandy/usc/ucla which would give you better placement opportunities.

I'd recommend working on your punctuation. I'm confused, as well, after reading that "sentence."confusedlaw wrote:The 167 was the third take I'm still under review at Cornell but im doubting it I'd rather be in nc you don't think fordhams a good hoice

Re: Fordham
of the three, it's by far the best choice, but you're still taking on a lot of debt for not so good odds at nyc biglaw. fortunately for you, you're not taking out COL loans, so going there isn't a totally horrible decision.confusedlaw wrote:The 167 was the third take I'm still under review at Cornell but im doubting it I'd rather be in nc you don't think fordhams a good hoice

Re: Fordham
Try to get a 4th retake. My friend got one by asking a school to send a letter to the LSAC authorizing you to retake for a 4th time.confusedlaw wrote:The 167 was the third take I'm still under review at Cornell but im doubting it I'd rather be in nc you don't think fordhams a good hoice
No. Cornell is a lot better in terms of placement as compared to Fordham.

Re: Fordham
EA doesn't really matter. And I got rejected from UCLA before getting into Cornell. Not saying it'll happen, but there's a chance.confusedlaw wrote:I wish I could have applied ea I might have had a shot I was in the hospital with no wireless so I couldn't I just got dinged at USC so I doubt I'm getting in cornell

That depends on what you want to do in life.confusedlaw wrote:Is Fordham with 15 k and ability to live home rent free better than half scholarship aye juice and fully at seton hall and 30 at bklyn
If you want biglaw, go to Fordham (and hope for the best).
Everything else, go to Brooklyn and come out with a debt you can manage off a $50k salary

Re: Fordham
It depends on what you want, what are the things you are considering doing during/after law school. It's not all about money. Are certain locations better to you, are you trying to get into a certain field, any other considerations. You have to consider the whole range of possibilities.

Re: Fordham
Then Fordham sounds like a good choice and since you're not fighting with any reasons for IUB I assume you also think so. Go with your gut.confusedlaw wrote:Well I can live at home n go to Fordham no col I want to end up in nyc
