Re: Emory ($$$) vs. UTK (in-state/$)
emory usually gets a bad rap on tls, but if it's really that little of a cost difference AND you want to potentially work in Atlanta, it's the much better choice here.

If ATL --> Emory
If Nash --> UTK
-getting Nash from Emory will be nearly impossible (you'll just get compared to Vandy and you won't win there)
**Getting biglaw/a solid job in either market is going to require top 1/3 at worst at either school.

Isn't it likely that you will be accepted to Vanderbilt if you received a hefty scholarship from Emory ? Would you attend Vanderbilt without any scholarship money over your other options ?

i'm not sure that its likely that i'll get into vandy. my numbers are okay, but it's a toss up. i would probably attend vandy without scholarship because i think it'd be worth the cost....so then it becomes a moot point i guess!CanadianWolf wrote:Isn't it likely that you will be accepted to Vanderbilt if you received a hefty scholarship from Emory ?
