Look on the bright side...Big Ten football. My alma mater, for reasons unknown to even the Board, has never had a football team. It's one of the great regrets of my life that I didn't attend a college with a football team. For realzie.

Scholarship stipulations (above like "good academic standing") are already TTT. A top 1/3 stip? Heinously TTT.

i agree that top 1/3 scholarship caters to the "i'm a special snowflake and will profit cuz i'm the exception" mentality and it's pretty TTT. I think right around exam times, people just pray (&prey) for median, much less top third.

It could be a lot worse. Below top-3rd should probably drop out after 1L anyway there, so why not roll the dice if the first year is free?
