U Illinois, W&L or U Florida? Forum

I Like ALL of these schools very much. (I DO NOT want "BigLaw" so please no T14 or gtfo on this)
That said,
I would greatly appreciate any advice on deciding between these 3 schools: Illinois, W&L, UF!

I live in FL, want to practice here, & have schol. at all 3 sufficient to eliminate any financial differentials.

Thanks for response, I am curious tho why "not even close", I think it's essentially the value of a higher ranked school vs. the value of "the gator nation" alumni network. Do you think the second just blows the first out of the water or some other reason?

You want to be in Florida. These school are all regional. If you go to Illinois you'll probably be working in the Midwest. W&L you'd be in VA and that area. UF you'd be in Florida, which is where you said you want to be. I guess thats why goldenflash said not even close.

Illinois 2l here, this school is very regional. If you know for sure you want to work in Florida it would make no sense to come here

This. Rankings for the most part are pretty meaningless after the T14 since schools after that are generally regional schools.

You want to work in FL. If you're not going to a T14 then you should go to a FL regional school. The best FL regional schools are UF and FSU. Go to UF (especially since you have a scholly there).
