UCLA vs. Boston U

Post by atp17 » Tue Feb 07, 2012 1:26 pm

First time post, long time lurker.

I'm just interested in which school would give me the best shot at a big law job within their respective markets.

If you really want biglaw you should probably go somewhere other than these schools since you're more likely to end up without biglaw than with it.

Yo might have quite a bit of trouble with large LA and Boston firms as someone who's not only not from the area but also has presumably not spent specific time in that area prior to law school. This is how ridiculous legal hiring has become. Law school is not the time to make a cross-country move.

BU does well in Boston. UCLA in LA. Both great schools. Research NLJ 250 placement for each law school.
