Chances at tough schools

Post by hbh90 » Wed Feb 01, 2012 3:39 pm

I am in at vandy, gtown, and BU with GPA of 3.8 and LSAT of 169. Still waiting to hear back from Columbia, NYU, and Penn...what are chances at these schools? if i dont get in to these which school should i go to?

I am from Maryland..open to the idea of law school in the south, not sure yet where i want to work but most likely in NY or DC

Just postulating, but of the ones you're in at, I'd say it's obviously Georgetown. Especially if you want to live in DC.

$$ at any?

It depends on the money. Georgetown at full price would literally be insane. The high tuition is compounded by the (very) high cost of living expenses. Please note that just because you may have a little parental support/extra money to spend doesn't mean that you should just blow it on that.

Any scholarship money? Where do you want to work?

Again, I would think a T14 is always going to be more competitive. What are your numbers?
