W&M w/ money vs others
Hey,
I'm graduating college this semester, primarily interested in Environmental Law (private practice), but open to anything (such as IP). I also prefer to live anywhere in the South, but Cali is okay too.
Thoughts on attending William & Mary with 20k/yr scholarship versus Vanderbilt, Duke, or Berkeley with no $?
I'm wondering if the latter schools will really improve my job prospects a significant amount (depending on how well I perform) while I will leave W&M with only 16K in debt (taking into account money i already have set aside for law school)

I grew up in South Carolina and would prefer to return to the South for law school/post-law school. I'd prefer the South, but don't have a preference as to where in the South.YourCaptain wrote:where are you from?

duke or w&m then. im not that debt averse so i would take duke, esp if from sc. berkeley or duke will give you good options either way.

Agreed. Duke easily. Vandy may even throw you some cash, so wait on that too..375 H&H Mag. wrote:Don't go to W&M. Vandy or Duke are much better options. Risk aversion is not only minimizing debt, but maximizing opportunity. Your opportunities are not maximized at W&M.
