Chances when reapplying?

Post by Jasper21 » Fri Jan 27, 2012 6:03 pm

Hello all,

I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me!! I sent in all of my applications be day after Thanksgiving and I have been hearing back from schools since the last week in December. I have since been thinking about retaking the LSAT in June because my practice tests have been drastically higher. I have been PTing around 166-169 and with a little more time, I am certain I can break 170. I heard back from a few schools, but I decided to withdraw from almost all of them today. My question is, will this have an adverse affect on my cycle next year? I feel that I will have a better chance of scholarship money.

By the way, I am an AA female with a 3.47 LSAC GPA. My undergrad gpa was 3.67. I would like to eventually become a law professor. I know that Yale is great for academia but my chances are pretty slim. Do I have a chance at the other T-14 with money with a better LSAT score? I also plan on sending apps in on the first day but I want to know that my chances aren't screwed since I withdrew my apps. Thanks in advance everyone!!

I apologize for any typos. I'm on my iPhone and I'm tutoring so I'm not paying much attention!
