DePaul ~10% ->?

Post by FloridaCoastalorbust » Tue Jan 17, 2012 11:01 am

Admittedly, this situation isn't mine but a friends so I'll do my best not to out him. He estimates he is right within top 10% (estimate, albeit accurate, as I believe DePaul doesn't rank after first term). I've suggested to him that TX is really hot right now and he is interested in SMU. Should he be content with sending apps to schools in that range or a bit higher? Assume that the goal would be 1)biglaw 2)PI with no regional preference. TIA

I don't know about NU, but UChicago will not happen for OP.

Figured UChi is not worth an app, and am unsure but inclined to think the same for NU. Although the $80 or so would probably be worth it for NU just in case. It would be interesting to hear of other transfers in the mid-upper T2 range landing in t14.
