Rutgers 100% free vs........
If you could go to Rutgers 100% free vs. going anywhere else from T7 and below and pay, would you...why or why not??

You must be going via the NJ National Guard's free tuition program, correct?

Free law school is nice, but your ability to get into a "T7 and below" should open up some doors for full-rides at places better than Rutgers. Sounds like you're in a pretty good position, though. Good luck.

I'll take this one. Both Newark and Camden are two huge shitholes that I wouldn't go to even with a full scholarship with no stipulations and a sizable stipend.wannabejag wrote:Virginia. Rutgers is definitely one one of the better TT schools. That being said, id say Virginia and its not even close. Rutgers usually place around 30% or more of their students in non-article three clerkships and only about 40% in private practice.wannabejag wrote:Virginia. If you get jag out of Virginia, that's awesome. However, Virginia gives you far, far more desirable backups if it doesn't work out.

Re: Rutgers 100% free vs........
From what I understand, Rutgers is a solid option if you want to work in NJ, and especially good considering the price in-state. That said, UVA is a much better choice I'd think. I'm considering Rutgers simply because I can go for next to nothing, it is highly likely I will find work through connections I've made living here my whole life, and I have no intent of living IN Newark. Wouldn't choose it over a T14 though...top30man wrote:Rutgers is definitely one one of the better TT schools. That being said, id say Virginia and its not even close.
