international reach and prestige
How are HYS CCN perceived in Asia and Europe? Is it true that Harvard Law is on a tier of its own abroad? And how do YLS and SLS compare with CLS?

Harvard Law is on a tier of its own with regards to international reach and prestige for three reasons. First Harvard Law is large, and it has a lot more alumni working abroad than YLS and SLS. Second, Harvard Law has a prominent role in popular culture (featured in The Paper Chase, Love Story in Harvard, etc.). And, third, even though Harvard Law is an elite institutions in its own right, it has the Harvard name, which is constructed from top institutions in almost every field (medicine, law, business, college, government, economics, etc.).
