Hey guys,
In the past I've been told that a school's number of adjunct professors can negatively affect the school's rank. I tried to do some research on this to see if the idea is true, but pretty much found nothing. Thoughts?

Don't know, but fortunately the number of chairs in the library can more than make up for it.

Unless the number of adjunct professors affect the student/faculty ratio or the peer assessment, they don't have any impact on rankings.

Some top schools have a lot of adjuncts because those people have careers that are considered more important that teaching.
