but it is all about me
I asked this on another topic on another thread but no one is answering. If you had an offer at a F500 starting as a Financial Analyst at 50-60k(in a cheap metro) at their financial headquarters would you take it even if it was your dream of becoming an attorney? The F500 also said they will pay 90% of an MBA. I am not doing so hot on my PT Lsats.

I think you should take the LSAT, see how you do, and apply. But the answer to your question really depends on what schools we're talking about and the conditions. If you're talking about T-14 or T-1 with large scholly, it may be worth considering. If we are talking T-2 at sticker, then go with the Financial Analyst position, at least until you have saved enough to pay for law school. If it is truly your dream to become an attorney don't give up on it that easily. Don't forget that a lot of people take the LSAT three times to get the score they want. Good luck to you.

Dreams are dreams, reality is reality. That isn't to say you can't convert dreams into reality, but too many people think that reality shouldn't apply to dreams.
1. You have a job offer that provides a good salary and upward mobility.
2. You aren't doing well on your LSAT practice.
3. LSAT pretty much determines where you will go to school and how much debt you will have.
4. Where you go to school will largely determine your employment opportunities after you graduate.
5. Law school will still be there in the future.
Take the job with the good salary. Open your mind to the possibility you might like it. Talk with attorneys in the field you think you want to practice in. See if your "dream" of being an attorney actually matches up with the realities of the profession. Save money. If, after a year, you find you don't like the analyst position and you don't see a future in the field that you would like, go for law school.

Take the F500 job.
Reasons:
1. maybe you will get off this forum and take your outlandish posts elsewhere.
2. No one will ever have to deal with your immature antics as evidenced by almost every thread you start in a courtroom or firm.
3. You'd probably be a shitty attorney anyway.
Hope this helps
